I'm beginner at COM.
Usually, When I made the COM object, its extension is .dll, or .exe as I known.
And then what is .olb file?
and the difference of odl file and idl file?

You could have easily googled this
.olb = automation object library
.odl = object definition language
.idl = interface definition language

In VS2008, Commonly, IDL file is made at COM Wizard mode.
Then, how are odl files made in?
And the OLB file alose is COM, isn't it?
