need help in combo box selection problem

Hi all

i am facing one problem while selecting the values in a combo box..
i have 3 names in the combo box.e.g. below
a
b
c
now when i am selection any of the value(suppose b) then next time it's converting the value of the combo box like below
b
b
c
plz tell me what is the problem.i am using vb.net 08 and sql server 05 and it's a desktop application

Values in combobox are static or you are binding it from database?
