Can we pass parameters to the trigger using SQL Server 2008?

You can pass parameters via a workaround i.e. using CONTEXT_INFO -[^].

Thanks for replying. My requirement is following -1. There are two table lets say employee and empaudit.
2. employee table's col- emplid ,empname,trasactionamt.empaudit table col -empauditid,empid,trasactionamt,updatedby,updateddate.
3. empaudit table must me updated(recored inserted corresponding empid) whenever updated trasactionamt of corresponding empid and also updated updatedby col.
4.lets I logged in with chetan user in my application and updated employee transactionamt then updatedby col should be also updated.
