Hello,
I need a little help with searching the registry for a key using a .vbs file.
The information I have is:
For example I want to uninstall “Zune” from my client’s machine.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{9B75648B-6C30-4A0D-9DE6-0D09D20AF5A5}]
"DisplayName"="Zune"
What I would like is to be able to search for "DisplayName"="Zune".
This part of the key is
The part that I need to see in a variable is “\{9B75648B-6C30-4A0D-9DE6-0D09D20AF5A5}]“ without the quotes.
 
This part looks like it is different of some computers.
 
Or get the “UninstallString” Value data into a variable.
 
let me know is anything was unclear and I will try to explain it a bit better.
