C # tutorials for networking

I wanted some links through which i can learn networking using C# and come up with a networking software. Something like a Network Scanner. Its a request for all the professionals to share their experiences. Thanks
The Knowledge what you all guys have will be more useful for the Project i am coming up with.
Obviously i didnt find anything useful on google. You all can also suggest good reference books through which i can learn this subject. Thanks
