Showing shapefile on bing map

Hi,
I am developing an application where i have to show shapefile on bing map using silverlight controls and bing map sdk but can not use any third party software or api.So my question if i can show shapefile on bing map using bing map sdk and silverlight application.Any help would be fine for me.
