Button Click Event of Modaluar Popup

Hi All.
How is it possible to get the value of the selected row of a gridview through a button click event.Actually this is the case.The gridview delete button when hit displays a modalpopup to confirm if a user wants to delete.Now if the user hits OK then the button click event of the OK button needs to get the value of that particular row.
