Hi friends,
Am very new to asp.net,now in my application I have two folders(user,authenticated)inside the user I have login page it is connected to database..inside authenticated folder i have one page like default.aspx..and i have one page outside to these folders page name is home page..Home page is start up page in the home page i have three links login,signup,Default..When user try to access the Default page i want to redirect the user into login page...after authentication i want to allow to access the Default page..
How Can I do this?

You'll use Forms Authentication. It's too involved to try and tell you every little step here but I would suggest reading up on it, starting at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff647070.aspx
