I want to create a an animated dominoe game, but I am just learning the basics to C# programming. Is there any books that I could buy that would teach me How to create animation and graphics in C#?

Of course it's possible, It's looks like a too wide topic for Quick Questions & Answers. You need to decide what UI library would you like to use; System.Windows.Forms with System.Graphics, or WPF, or something else... Withing WPF, there are very different approaches. Maybe you start from reading overview to see what options you can consider? --SA
