Solution 1

Use the libusb[^] library to enumerate and access USB devices. See the Developer's Guide[^] for a description of the API.

You may have a look on the usbutils[^] package (sources) to see how the library can be used.

if you can work with python .python is he best choice for working with usb Device
and usb port.

python has a pyusb lib. Powerful library for working with usb Device
and usb port . You can use the library in C/C++.
