Where can i get the source code of a website which can be used as 'Code repository'
and can be easily maintained by group of selected people.
Any open source projects are acceptable

Solution 1

The most widely used open source code repository and version control tool is SVN as far as I am aware of.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Subversion[^]

It also has got some UI in terms of TortoiseSVN at http://tortoisesvn.net/[^] which is also an open source tool.
