Hello! I need to download Mono platform for Ubuntu and I could not find where to download it for ubuntu OS. Could anyone help?

Thanks. I had that link and when I click "Other" to choose ubuntu, it points to the link I provided and after that I get lost...

However, going there directly is a bad way (I almost regret I voted 5 now, but it's OK :-).) Please see my answer, for a right way.

You got an answer in Solution 1, but this is not a really right way with Ubuntu. You need to go for installation manager (like Synaptic, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synaptic_%28software%29[^]) and search for Mono. If you want to do development, I would recommend to start with MonoDevelop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MonoDevelop[^], http://monodevelop.com/[^]). In this way, MonoDevelop will be installed with all dependencies, and with Mono, of course.
