Connect to Database Project into Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate RC

Hello everyone
I have installed Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 RC on Windows 8 Enterprise so I created a SQL Server Database Project then I want to Connect to Database and I get this Error message:

"A network related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to sql server ... "

and I want to check SQL Server Services like SQL server Express into "SQL server Configuration Manager" and I can't find it.
i know my question about this error message is very repetitious but i want to know :
is there SQL server Configuration manager in VS2012?
What do I must to do for this problem?

The error indicates that your connection string is wrong.

hi ryanb31. in my VS2012 is just SQL server database Project option and i have just installed VS 2012 RC no SQL Server type other.

have you installed sql server?
if yes the error may be a connection error.

no i have not installed Sql server. i just have installed VS 2012 Ultimate RC and in VS 2012 is just sql sever database project no other type projcet.
