paging in repeater in asp.net using linq without pageddatasource class

I have a repeater in my page and i have a method which is of object type in other class.In method i have written my query for filling the repeater.
I want to apply paging in repeater but i dont want to use pageddatasource class.
how can i achieve the desired task?
