See more: C++ DirectX directshow
I am very new on visual c++ and directx and i needed a simple video playback (preferable full screen) with defined screen part of video. Actually thinking control this window with trackbars to pan video horizantally and vertically.
I found the interface VMR7 and VMR9 which have SetVideoPosition method receives two rect pointers for source and destination. However i could not find simple code for my purpose. I do not need any menu or program interface. Could you recommend a way to figure out this ?

Code to do this, likely won't seem simple to someone who is new to C++.

Start with a sample that displays video, and then implement those methods the best you can. Incrementally adapt the sample to do what you want.

Come back if you have any specific issues along the way.
