What is the code used for searching the data in a database?

The code you write. And it would be SQL. And your post reads like an attempt at asking a bad question

1 - Of COURSE it's a question about VB.NET. 'searching database' would be a good, descriptive title. Yes, we can edit it for you ( and I will ), but a dumb subject gives me a poor opinion of the thought processes of the person I am answering before I start, and there's no reason to be lazy.

2 - a broad question like this is impossible to answer clearly, because it shows you have no knowledge at all, and the answer is really contained in an article or a book, not a few sentences. You need to buy some books and read them. You need to use google. When you post a question, you should explain what you've already tried, what you already understand, and what you need help with. You just told me that you don't know anything about what you're asking, and you're too lazy to try to find out.
