how can i know that some thing has been change in jtextarea using java?

Solution 2

Add a KeyListener to the JTextArea:

Java Tutorials - How to Write a Key Listener[^]

That one reacts each time a key is used.
You could also use a ChangeListener - that one reacts on leaving the JTextArea. Depends on what you want to do(?)
