how are defining your timeout limit?

In Web Config........

I just checked, and it isn't very urgent and important at all. In fact, it doesn't even appear on my to-do list. It may be urgent to you, but it isn't to us. All that your stressing the urgency does is to make us think you have left it too late, and want us to do it for you. This annoys some people, and can slow a response.

can you post code in web.config where you have set session time out..

1 solution

Go to the App Pool for the site, to the Performance Tab.

Either uncheck the box for:
Shutdown worker processes after being idle for (time in minutes)
or set the value to >= your set session timeout.

and also check :

If this is a Windows 2003 IIS 6.0 server, please check the site's
application pool property. Verify the setting 'Shutdown worker processes
after being idle for(time in minutes)'.

The default setting of IIS6 is to shut down worker processes(web site/app
pool instances) if there is no new requests come in for 20 mins. In this
case, all the in-process sessions will be lost.
