I am trying to install .net framework 3.5 and 4.0 on windows server 2003 sp1 and 2008 pro-grammatically and silently using win 32 c++, but unexpected errors.

unfortunately i am working on a spanish os and not able to comprehent the errors, but when i searched internet i found that its some general error that comes while installation in windows servers.

Is there any problem with windows server 2003 standard edition?

the error: needs service pack 1 update information.

please help

What did you try? Can you tell us the command you used? What is the error message (even though in spanish, or might google translate it first), error code?

My first question is: Why? If you are working on a server, then it should be done the "right" way and installed the way Microsoft intended, using their installers and Windows Updates.

the error i got is i miss some requirements and need to use service pack 1 like...

and this is an installar software and its on testing phase on different os, its working fine in other os's.

1 solution

.NET framework 4 needs Windows Server 2003 with "Service pack 2".

Check the system requirements here http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=17851[^]
