Errors when running eclipse

I have a 64bit computer and the system is windows xp profession 32bit.
When I run eclipse 32bit, it sometimes closed and show error icon on project while there's no error on the project. If I restart the eclipse, it will work well again.
What version of eclipse should I use?

Solution 1

You can use any version, that does not matter.

Are you debugging when you crash your Eclipse? imho that means that you crash the JVM.
What does the eclipse log state (in the eclipse folder, not the project's one?
