I am using javascript function to show time counter on button click in 1.1(using visual studio 2003). On button click we are fetching data from database and generating excel to the user. Even after fetching the output the counter is running, how to update the javascrit function that the task is completed? i can't hard code the time in javascript. Please suggest.

There are jquery plugins that may help. But, since we can't see your code who knows how to help?
