Hi to all,

I have web application project it's workgin fine in local machine, but when i upload it to the server then i mee the below error

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
XML
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
XML
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

I know this means to change the custom error mode as off, i also do the same code in my web.config but also return the same error, some time i change the mode into ON / Remoteonly but also return the same error, may i know this error from server or due to my code?, how to solve it ? memebrs help me

Did you ensures any logger capability in your WEB App??
First thing i can advise to you log any error that arrives in method
C#
protected void Application_Error(object sender, EventArgs e)

To override this method open global.asax and do method declaration.

As core of log system you can leverage either log4net or NLog third-party assemblies.
This might be helpful for U.

Another thought that came to my mind,
Do you use a third-party libraries in you web solution ?
if yes , so, in such case maybe you forgot to deploy it to remote server??
