Hi all,
I am developing a device integrated application. I need to parse the data received from serial port data. I tried to tell whole trouble in one image. please check following image telling everything.

I want to get just 20 (or 20000000).

can you double check the checking condition '4<' is not typo instead of '4>' because the data contains the text 4> and not 4<.

Unfortunately Espen, it did not work form me or i could not deal with those codes. You can consider that i may be not expert enough to understand your solution I am receiving serial port data from a weighbridge in real time and it send the following raw data http://oi50.tinypic.com/2cgc4k4.jpg[^] PS : thank you Andre for warning me.
