Solution 1

Try this -
    $(document).ready(function ($) {
        var telugu = "ఆ౦ధ";
        var english = "Andhra";
        var target = $("#target");
        word = english;
        setInterval(function () {
            target.fadeOut('fast', function () {
                target.text(word).fadeIn('fast');
            });
            word = (word === english ? telugu : english);

        }, 1000);

    });
