java script code functionality is not working within the master page.in individual page it is working well.
Why repost? I replied here: javascript code whenever i add the master page it is not working[^]

Further, if you have JS in a file, make sure the reference of the JS file is correct so that it is available.

by using that view source id also it is not working

Thats not possible. It will. No reason if you did it correctly.

Better you show it to some senior of yours and get feedback.
