I Was wondering if it is possible to make a program using visual studio 2010 that users can log in to use the computer like the way user accounts are created. for any one to use the computer they need to log in to use basic computer programs or even print or use the internet .

So, C++, C# or VB? Main thing is platform: .NET or not?!
If .NET, don't mention C++ or VB; they could be C++/CLI or VB.NET, very different languages.

Do you mean a kind of application that shows instead of the usual desktop and/or user login window.. a kind of application that replaces the default windows shell in order for the owner to provide a closed system where users can launch only a limited set of applications?

Or do you mean a user login replacement to customize only the user selection phase?

Why would you need to, since Windows already provides this functionality?

The question makes no sense at all. If you need many users to log in the system, create an account for them. You can allow guest account; however this is not recommended. This is not a programming problem, just some stupid administration.

Why reinvent the wheel. Use the built in native solution: Remote Desktop Connection[^]. You just need to either create AD or machine user accounts with the appropriate security and away you go.
