Bluetooth file sharing in Windows Phone 8

I was wondering if there is an API for sharing files using bluetooth (app to app)?

Lets says if it was an image stream. I could pair to a phone and the app will listen for messages and then if there is a file it will download it.

Maybe I could also use NFC to ask permission to the other phone and if you comfirm it opens the app and starts the trasfer via bluetooth.
