if this is your assignment then you can do it yourself only.. try to do your work with yourself. and if any problem occured during the ask queries.

@prashant: As you see I have done my assignment. But need debugging. I'm still a beginner. I only need to find out what are the errors
prashant patil 4987 9-Jan-13 23:27pm
what is your error..?/

any of buttons won't work when I press them.

Again and again, please see: http://sakryukov.org/freeware/calculator/[^].

Pure JavaScript, only one file; see source code via View / Page Source. Million times simpler, just few lines of code, and millions time more functional: all kinds of expressions, anything JavaScript can do.

Who needs this…? well, see my comment to the question…

@Sergey: I appreciate your work. But this is not an answer for my question

Why do you need an answer to your question, especially when you did not answered my? Why not looking it from a right side? This is the advice... Well, sorry if you don't like it. Can you see that the idea of the calculator with buttons is just wrong? Before the PC era, they were produced because people could not do better. Why reproducing them in software?

@Sergey: I accept what you are saying. But this is an assignment. If my tutor think like the way you think, your idea will be a marvelous one. I have an error and I just need to fix it.......

Well, talk to this person, your initiative might be welcome.

Want to tell you one thing: I don't even remember when I did exactly what I was told to do. Once I even came to our professor to arrange a date for the main doctoral exam, quite a formal one. Even though the exam wasn't designed this way, I claimed that they don't have to worry about main questions: I am going to prepare the short talk on the topic of my own choice and promise that it won't be boring. I don't know that anyone else put forward such a daring suggestion. Believe or not, it was quite welcome!

Reasonable people rather expect active approach and initiative.

And, anyway, consider accepting this formally (green button) — thanks. It won't compromise your chance to get other answers and accept them or not.
