I have two applications that utilize the 'Microsoft.Ace.Oledb.12.0' that are published to my test server. One of the applications works just fine while the other throws this exception:

The 'Microsoft.Ace.Oledb.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

So my question is, how can one of these applications work using the same provider while the other does not? Is it something in the individual application that could cause this?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I figured out what the problem was. I did not use an application pool for my new application that was 32-bit enabled initially. I just made the change on that and it is working fine.
