dear sir/mam,
does stored procedures work in sql server 2000 ? and what is work of stored procedure in sql server2000? and what is work that can not be done only in sql server2000?

Hello.

Yes stored procedure work on SQL 2000.

A good start is to read about SQL 2000.

Sql2000 is now fairly old system and Microsoft will stop supporting in in April this year, I suggest you look at more modern alternatives, like SQL 2012 for example.
