Hi,

Just back from a few years not programming, before with vb6, now I'm using Visual Basic 2010. Re making my old programs I encountered a small problem. I made a email notification program with a free PoP ActiveX, it can set the port but it does not contain the Possibility to set SSL on or off, with normal pop email servers it's no problem but I want to check my Hotmail via its pop3 mail server; pop3.live.com.

I'm searching the net now for a couple of days...

Does anybody know a free pop3 ActiveX with SSL? (or a website filled with those components, they must be out there)

After all those responses :) and a couple of days of more searching I found this:

http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/28b96cd4-b755-48a0-b686-9abb7d5607a8[^]

Works like a dream.
