not sure what you mean by dropDownList1 ... is this a WPF application? And by adjusting the height do you mean that you don't want the scrollbar to be the full height of the control ?

no..no..not like that...it is a normal web application . i added some (30 data's)in that dropdownlist1.now that pblm is scrollabar's height...
now i want to reduce it

I'm still not clear about what you're trying to do. Are you saying that the entire list is now too big because of the amount of data in it? If so can you use the MaximumSize property to limit it

Use load on scroll concept that will resize scroll bar as the data load
