Creating a toolbar for IE and Firefox

Can someone guide me to a tutorial to build a complete toolbar for both, IE and Firefox? For IE, i already have a running BHO (built completely in C++), I would like to build a new extension that adds a toolbar to my IE. Same goes for Firefox, would like to build an extension that adds a toolbar to the browser.

Found the other half of the solution.
