How to publish MVC to IIS server?

Im having troubles doing that because the publish option tells me I need a profile. If I'm correct that's only when you use Azure. Im not; I would like to use FTP or something like that.

Whenever I use the publish option it ask for a profile and if I'm correct that's only for Azure. I want to use FTP or local but no option for that.

No, profiles can apply to FTP or file system publishing methods. In the "publish profile" drop down, select "<new...>" and follow the steps. One of them is to select the publish method (e.g., file system, FTP).
