i developing an app PXE,

use iscsi storage and ipxe (ipxe.org)
i want to use an img OS for all computer in lan network or "group computer" but when all computer start is show a messenger "error the computer name" because all computer use an img os, all computer a name i don't know how to fix it
i was renamed computer name by my hand but it need so many time
i was renamed by script "edit regedit" too
but i must restart computer again
what's solution can help me

Solution 1

you need to write a run once script which renames the computer. In that script i would make a call to a server which hands out the approbiate name.

if I rename computer by my hand or script
Computer must restart to change Computer name
But when restart computer, computer load IMG OS again and name computer in IMG OS well be name computer
So name computer don't change
