Windows Service read input while installing and save it in app.config file.

I'm very new to .NET.so if this question is simple please give me your solution.

I have created a windows service which reads input credentials and once i install this service setup I have to use those credentials for application future uses.Is that possible?
It is highly appreciated,If anyone come up with ideas and examples.
