Why is there no material available on Visual C++ graphics??
I want to start graphics with Visual c++, any books or links to relevant resources or code samples are appreciated. At the moment I do not want to get in DirectX or OpenGL, I just want to use simple win32 graphics.

What do you call "material"?

I would think that you really need to work on your google-fu. Googling "Visual C++ win32 graphics" resulted in 1.6 million results and you could not find anything?

I cannot call it a valid question, because it is based on false statement. What "material" do you think is missing? Do you need event more? You statement looks good only for excuses for not doing any work, quite frankly.

If we go from your choice of not looking into DirectX or OpenGL, it comes to GDI+ and everything based on it. Please see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GDI%2B#GDI.2B[^],
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms533798%28v=vs.85%29.aspx[^].

This is already quite enough to get started.

You can also see some CodeProject articles:
Starting with GDI+[^],
Drawing Speed in GDI+[^],
Beginners - Starting a 2D Game with GDI+[^]…

However, I don't think I can cover the topic by selecting CodeProject articles on the topic. There are too many of them, covering many very different aspects of programming:
http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx?doctypeid=1&q=%28%22GDI%2b%22+OR+GDI%29+C%2b%2b[^].

Good luck,
