List computer names at workgroup

Hi All

How can I throw the ping at all the computers in a network and also get infomation as:
-Computer name
-IP address
-MAC address

I want use windows api at this project ?

Help me please

Solution 1

Get IP adresses in LAN[^]
Yes - Ping is needed since there is no API for this. Sadly.

Get the Mac-Adress by IP of remote machine[^]
Get Host name by IP address[^]
