How to access Html pages loaded in Google Chrome?

Is there any chrome c++ public api,s which that can be used for accessing webpages and html contents loaded in a Chrome.

"I want to traverse to a particular element or a html tag for my purpose."

For Example In Internet Explorer I can iterate to a particular Html element using COM objects.Is there any way to do same with Chrome.
