We are using FTDI2232H chip for programming the flash. After
programming the flash we want to put the FTDI SPI lines in the MPSSE
mode to tri state. Could you please let me know what should we do in
order to achieve this. Is there any APIs to put FTDI lines to tri
state mode? Is there any document that we can refer?

Please don't repost questions (http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/566981/Isplusitpluspossibleplustoplussetplusspipluslinesp).

See my comment to that question. The FTDI programming documents state that general purpose pins (and probably also the SPI pins) can be set to output or input mode, but not to tri state.

I would take a look at this site: http://www.ftdichip.com/FTSupport.htm.
The assistances of FTDI are surely looking forward to such questions
