I try to save HTML/PHP files with the .php extension,
but when I open the files it shows me filename.php.txt.
How can I make notepad save these files as .php?

I got the same error while i change the "all files" option in "Save as type"???

please help me to solve this problem....

Well, first of all, I admire your enthusiasm, but forget Notepad. Look for a more adequate IDE, like:
Eclipse PDT[^]
and so on.

By the way, if you select "all files" before entering the name, it will be saved with the exact file name you gave.
