See more: IIS7 Authentication

I have tried working with windows authentication for my application and it works fine, but my requirement is to add the credentials(username and password) only in the application settings in the IIS7 and I don't want to add the access roles in the database(sql server 2008) is it possible to do it that way? please provide suggestive link if there any

Where is your problem? Connecting to the SQL Server with SQL Server authentication instead of Windows Authentication? Access rights to your web application?

Solution 1

        <compilation debug="true" targetframework="4.0"></compilation>
        <identity impersonate="true" username="yourSystemUserName" password="YourSystemPassword" />
        <add key="ConnString" value="server=YourServer;database=YourDatabase;Integrated Security=true;"></add>

try these settings.
