d=30
price=200
c*d
price + _
 
 
When I tried the above code in 'python ommandline', I got the result as
"500"
 

 
c=10
d=30
price=200
print c*d
print price + _
 
 
When I tried the above code in my normal python program on eclipse pydev, it gives me the error:
 
"
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Users\Rahul_Raj05\Tracing\Python_Samples\Test\sample1.py", line 18, in <module>
    34 + _
NameError: name '_' is not defined
"
 
What is the diffeerence between both cases? why error comes in second code ?

Are you sure you don't have it the other way around? The first code does not appear like it could possibly work. The second code appears correct, but where does the "_" come from?
