Solution for fetch data from web service, normalize it and store to DB

Hi All,

I assume that there are lot of discussions around windows service vs schedule tasks, however my case not so simple.

There is asmx webservice, with dozen of methods, each method should be called be schedule(from 1 min to 24 hours), than data returned by this method should be normalized and store to DB.

ASMX method's calls - from 20 sec to 1min 30 sec, returned data 400kb up to 3 MB.

Please advice how to create flexible and robust solution, thanks ahead folks.
