error in decompiling a .apk application?

i want to retrieve source code of a android application,
i'v tried the method of using dex2jar,apktool and cmd, but getting error as (java is not an external or internal command ) during decompilation.

1. is there any alternate method to reterive source code?
2. can we decompile using eclipse or sdk?
