Hello,

We have deployed asp.net web application on IIS server.
I want to make it secure by implementing https.
How to do that?

Solution 2

1) Using a self signed certificate: http://www.neiland.net/blog/article/how-to-create-and-install-a-self-signed-ssl-cert-with-iis7/[^]
2) If you go online, buy a certificate from any provider http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_SSL_certificates_for_web_servers[^], and install it, like above.
3) If you publish to a corporate intranet you can request a certificate from the internal authority too.
