How to create a outlook add-in in C# to create a task folder

When u click on tasks in outlook. I wanted to create my own task like Tasks in archive folder already existing there. And on clicking that propmt should appear to authenticate the user on entering a password and if password is correct i will call a web service.

A quick reply would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way would be by using Visual Studio Tools for Office, which can be downloaded here[^]. There's an (older) example on MSDN showing how to manipulate tasks[^] using VSTO.

Shouldn't be too hard from the Add-in :)
