Outlook 'Send an instant message' is hijacked by Skype

I am trying to use the OUtlook's Send an Instant Message option which pops up when you hover the mouse over a contact in To/Cc/Bcc. But instead of opening its own IM window, Skype is chipping in to handle the request.

How do we take the control out of Skype and make Outlook a IM handler for its needs?
