hi
if i have two application one acts as "Server Side" witch is java desktop application and the anther acts as "Client Side" mobile application ,,,, so how can i connect them ?

yes exactly what i've done is similar to this link : http://www.tutorialspoint.com/java/java_networking.htm[^]


but the difference that i made:
1- the name of the server is "local host" and the port is 2323
2- the client on the android studio simulator

but the connection doesn't work
   
Come on, you cannot "host" anything on localhost by definition:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Localhost
