using BFS and DFS to GENERATE graph

Hello.
Today my lecturer asked me question - how can we generate graph using BFS or DFS? I thought it is used only for traveling through the graph, searching vertex, etc. Do you have any idea what is the answear?

You are absolutely right. You should have asked the lecturer what she/he means, exactly the way you asked us. And what was meant by "generating a graph", generation out of what (as if generation was a problem :-))?
